This is a full-time position in the Economics Faculty, Department of Agribusiness at the Université Chrétienne Bilingue du Congo (UCBC). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong capacity to teach modular courses in agribusiness management, agricultural economics, or agricultural finance, (or other classes dependent on expertise and the needs of the Economics Faculty). The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute towards UCBC’s Integrated Research Institute, with relevance to agricultural business and economics in Congo in order to enhance research and teaching within the faculty. The professor will engage in service learning projects and data collection affiliated with cocoa and coffee development projects. Finally the professor will engage in staff capacity building and developing strategies to expand UCBC’s nascent Agribusiness academic program.
