Tia Ellis is the new Administrative Manager at Congo Initiative. Prior to this, she served as the Program Coordinator at the Four Freedoms Fund, where her passion for social change and equity was evident in her work. Tia holds a B.S. in Public & International Affairs from Baruch College, a degree that laid the foundation for her career in operations and project management. She has gained experience at several nonprofits, including the New York Housing Conference, Children’s Health Fund, Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School, and Children of Bellevue.
Tia’s expertise spans event planning, campaign management, team building, social media strategy, and data handling, with a strong track record of improving program management systems. Projects focused on equity and deep social change fuel her drive to continue fighting for a better world.
In her free time, Tia supports Together We Can Solve Hunger, a food security initiative in Belize, her family’s native country. She resides in the Bronx, New York, with her husband and daughter.
