Faithfulness to our calling to effectively train and develop strong, indigenous Christian leaders to transform their communities and their nation of the Democratic Republic of Congo. To be a life-giving vessel for social, structural, and spiritual healing and reconciliation in the midst of brokenness and hopelessness.
Wisdom, discernment, and creativity for the UCBC Management Committee in leading all of our work based in Beni, North Kivu province.
Courage for our 150+ alumni as they seek to serve the people of Congo with conviction and determination.
Development and support of permanent, full-time faculty to strengthen UCBC’s educational capacity and to deepen its vision and values.
Dedicated champions to lead CI’s Center for Development and Partnership.
Expansion of our dedicated, monthly donor base to support general operating costs.
Qualified faculty to teach the higher level courses that are needed for the new curriculum system (“LMD–License, Matrice, Doctorat“).
Strategic and timely partnerships to resource the growth of CI’s center for Church Renewal and Global Mission.
Lasting peace and reconstruction in DRC.
